I gave a short 15 minute presentation on The Genius Symbols at the GoE conference last year. Normally I draw the symbols live to show how simple they are and ask the audience to guess what they might be to demonstrate they are easy to learn, so that's what I did. This caused a certain gentleman to give me a set of canvases for Christmas and the idea/task to make a symbol set for group demonstrations. I did and here they are.

Bringing a family together is a whole new experience using EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques and the group entity pattern. All the group combines to tap for the whole group, thus avoiding any individual being singled out as a problem, or feeling left out of the process. This is a very bonding experience which really improves the flow of communication and love in a group as in this example shared by Kirsten Ellis from Yorkshire, UK.
We are pleased to say that our friends at the Canadian Energy Psychology Conference are now open for submissions for presenters at the 2012 event. This, the 14th annual Conference, takes place on the 19th - 21st October 2012, and is highly recommended to our North American friends and members.
EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques, tapping on special energy points whilst tuning in to an emotional problem which needs to be released, is an energy technique. EFT is not hypnosis, it isn't witchcraft, it isn't psychology or a behavioural pattern interrupt, it isn't tissue massage or physiotherapy - EFT is an example of modern energy work. Trying to deny this simple fact in order to gain "scientific acceptance" is not an option, as energy work is greatly influenced by intention and directed by conscious focus of attention. Using EFT from the wrong mind set reduces its effectiveness; and conversely, when we apply EFT "with energy in mind," we put EFT in its rightful place in the treatment of the mind, body, spirit triad and we improve its effectiveness, power, ease of use immediately and noticeably.
We are pleased to welcome the world's first GoE EFT Master Practitioners to be qualified by the highly recommended Distance Learning Course. Ryan DeMares from Colorado, USA and Dolores Andrew-Gavin from Galway, Ireland, both completed the course early in December, showing dedication and a real talent for EFT. There's a young man, no older than 20, with disheveled hair and tattered clothing. He has intense eyes that I can see clearly, even in the relative dark. He gets one look at me and crouches down, holding his legs to his chest protectively, looking at me with fear in his eyes. I recently taught a group of children how to tap. The children were aged between 5 – 9, two boys and three girls so we had a nice mix including a nice mix of personalities from quiet children to more outspoken children. Only one of the children had heard of EFT and most did not know what to expect. They arrived eager and giggling and as it was straight after school a little on the hungry side!
People who haven't been to an EMO conference have no idea what they let themselves in for! Many think, "Ah it's the same old same old, like any other type of energy psychology conference ..." but that's not the case. So check out the ... Silvia wrote in November 2011: I've spent the last 6 months doing nothing but writing the new GoE EFT Master Practitioner training courses for live trainings and distance learning certification. Why? we may ask, seeing that in EMO we already have highly advanced modern energy work at our fingertips. This is a good question.
The rain is lashing down in the dark night, the wind is whirling and the air is imbued with a sense of fear. Even people wrapped up in the warmth of their homes were peering out from the shutters, would this storm of devastation ever cease, would the winds ever fade away?
Are you involved with modern energy work such as EFT or EMO? Do you love it? And do you feel a little bit uncomfortable to tell everyone about it because you're afraid people will call you a fool, unscientific, or laugh at you? If so, welcome to the club! We all have acquired energy reversals about talking freely about energy! So if you're a little nervous about holding out your hand to the world and saying, "Good morning! In conjunction with TheAMT conference 2011, 60 delegates joined the first official live EFT Master Practitioner training, created by Silvia Hartmann in discussion with the GoE trainers to provide an in depth, state of the art training syllabus for the teaching of EFT for the next decade. *Includes a report by Silvia Hartmann on the first EFT Master Practitioner Training.
Last weekend The GoE played host to the 2011 EFT & Energy Psychology Conference here in the UK. This was the largest event we’ve ever organised and it was awesome seeing so many of us all in the same place at the same time. Thanks to all the presenters & guests for making the conference truly remarkable. Thanks also to all the people who’ve posted back their feedback and uploaded pictures.
