Alright so no painting is painting itself here literally. A canvas jumping out of the cupboard, sticking out it's little arms and legs, undoing the paint tube and with squeals of pleasure, beginning to apply Alizarin Crimson to themselves in long, slow strokes ... ;-> What I'm talking about here is a process by which some paintings "arrive" - like Gold Fall.
Just put this title down - that's funny. A "classic" symbol painting. A traditional symbol painting. The first one of those was in 2004, but I do know what I mean by that. A classic symbol painting is created by movements of a hand holding a pen or brush in response to the instruction, "Give me something ..."
Isaac Lim, a complementary therapist is registered with the Malaysian Ministry of Health-TCM and member of Malaysian Society for Complementary Medicine (MSCM) and of the Malaysian Psychology Association, shares this excellent EFT story about a young lady who had surgery and speech therapy so she "looked and sounded beautiful from the outside" but on the inside, still felt ashamed and disfigured. EFT helped her feel beautiful inside and out.
People change by events - and only by events. Trying to change without events isn't just doomed to failure, it structurally damages the energy system and is highly dangerous to mind, body and spirit. If you want real change, you will need a real event - a moment of perfect clarity.
I love The Genius Symbols. They have brought immeasurable joy into my life, I have just had such a good time making different symbol sets, and eventually, I made a symbol game board, an acrylic painting on canvas. I use it for special purposes and always regretted I couldn't take it with me when I went away to a conference or such; and when I came across a company who prints custom art scarves the other day, the The Genius Symbol Mandala literally jumped into my mind. Some time ago, I sent someone a The Gift and it was a Seahorse. First time that I can recall I had any dealings with this particular creature or metaphor, as the case may be ... Here is my seahorse drawing, the symbol hybrid, and a seahorse vector version, plus a couple of cute animated seahorses and a seahorse to print out for coloring in.
Sandra Hillawi, a world-renowned GoE Trainer and author, specialising in EFT and EMO, reflects back on 10 years of training the new GoE Practitioners. Sandra writes: It was in 2002 when I decided I would like to become an GoE Trainer. I'd been working with EFT for 2 years and having great success using it with clients in my natural healing practice. It was a natural evolutionary step to want to share this powerful and wonderful healing technique with more people. It was the year that EMO was launched, and in deciding to attend the launch it made sense to take the trainer's training for EMO too, and teach them both.
It's true - basic EMO has a strict NO METAPHOR! rule to keep people focused on the real feelings in their bodies and so they don't drift off into illusion and make belief when working with energy and emotion. But once the 6th sense (the feelings in the body that do not have a physical origin) has come online, we have the benchmark and can tell what's real - because we can FEEL it.
Project Sanctuary's Classic Game has been included in the Advanced Level EFT training program as the device of choice to help EFT practitioners work successfully with client presented metaphors, very highly charged memories, fragmented/repressed memories and "life problems" which would generate too many separate EFT set up statements. This has been received extremely well by EFT students who are delighted with these powerful new additions to their tool box of techniques and has been described as "truly magical and entirely transformative."
