An EFT study from the Iranian Journal of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology has studied the effect of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) on immunological factors in Injured Veterans. This study provides an initial indication that EFT may be a new therapeutic approach for improving psychological and immunological factors.
This study from The Journal of Science and Healing focusses on the progression of symptoms a group of veterans. The study concludes that as a simple and quickly learned method, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) may be a useful skill for veterans and active-duty warriors.
A recent study from The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine compared the efficacy of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with that of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in reducing adolescent anxiety. The results for the EFT participants showed a significant reduction in anxiety levels with the study concluding that EFT is an effective intervention to significantly reduce anxiety for high-ability adolescents.
The Daily Mail has reported that Heather Jones, 38, has used EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques to shrink from size 18 to size eight in just nine months.
After Heather's former partner died at age 32, she fell into a depression, didn't get out of bed for about a year and started to gain weight.

A study published by the Journal of Traumatic Stress Disorders & Treatment compared EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and NET (Narrative Exposure Therapy) for treatment of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). The study found that EFT was the most effective of the two therapies, giving long term benefits to those with PTSD. It highlights that EFT is effective in helping those actively cope with their PTSD and reduce symptoms.
An eagle eyed viewer spotted USA Olympian Deven Allen doing what appears to be some form of meridian tapping like EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques before his 110 meter hurdles race at Rio 2016 Olympics. EFT is great at releasing stress and building energy before a big race so is used by many for sports performance. Last week, fellow Olympian Bralon Taplin was also seen in a video tapping before a race.

A recent study published in The Journal of Integrative Medicine has shown that EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping significantly reduced depressive symptoms. These results were found at both 3 month and 6 month intervals after treatment, giving support to the long terms benefits of EFT. Examination of the individual cases also revealed clinically significant improvements in anxiety.

An EFT study has found that EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques had better results at improving patients with Hwabyung when compared to a PMR Progressive Muscle Relaxation Program.
Hwabyung is a Korean somatization disorder, a mental illness which arises when people are unable to confront their anger as a result of conditions, which they perceive to be unfair.
