Gary Craig, founder and creator of EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques, has just announced his impending retirement. This sad news comes after much consideration by Gary, but due to the stress of running a huge organisation, coupled with health issues, it was deemed a necessary step. Conversation With A Child

Conversation With A Child

The scene:

One very basic wooden hut which contains a small fireplace, one window, a door, a small rough bed, plank floors.

On the bed, we have a dishevelled man of about 30 years of age, long, untidy, greasy dark hair, stubble beard, curled up facing towards the wall with his arms around his shoulders.

Sitting on the side of the bed, we have one child, 4 1/2 years old, with a puppy sleeping at her feet. She holds a plain metal cup which contains water and some bits of leaves she thought to add to make a healing soup for him.

Outside, the afternoon is advancing.

Welcoming The Spirit Of The Story Teller

Welcoming The Spirit Of The Story Teller

Telling stories is one thing, and writing them down so they become a "short story" or a "novella" or a "novel" is another thing altogether. I don't think I fully realised that until just now, and I think that is an important step forward.

Writing for a living and being a story teller are quite distinct things.

One the one hand, there is the format; fashions decide how a story should be "presented" to the "target market" and that reflects not only in the language used, and the word count aspired to, but also in many other ways onto the story, re-shapes it, makes it into this other thing.

Being a story teller, one may free oneself from all of that.

Energy Reversals: The Important Lessons Of YES And NO

Energy Reversals: The Important Lessons Of YES And NO

"Modern energy psychology has the concept of an energy reversal. We talk about "being reversed" on a topic; and this comes from the intriguing observation made by kinesiologists that when a person says and thinks, "Yes!" their muscles are stronger than when they say and think, "NO!"  Silvia Hartmann discusses how we can use our power to say "Yes!" or "No!" to prevent self sabotage, psychomatic illness and damage to our self esteem and future aspirations.

Scientists Behaving Badly - Over-Emotional Scientists Crying "Snake Oil!" Over EMO

Scientists Behaving Badly - Over-Emotional Scientists Crying "Snake Oil!" Over EMO

"Scientists" behaving so deeply and disturbingly "unscientifically," throwing tantrums and swear words around like 6 year old children, crying "Snake Oil!" "denouncing," "debunking" everyone and everything outside their own narrow and dogmatic ideas without any research, any evidence or even any knowledge of what they are denouncing, are turning the population against themselves - and sadly, against the idea of science itself.
