It is with tremendous excitement and anticipation that I look at my calendar, at the date of November 12th, 2016.
It's the day of the big Evolution - the best and brightest new modern energists are going to be gathered in the central hall at The View Hotel (Eastbourne, UK) for the GoE Energy Conference. I am going to be buzzing from the tip of my toes to the tips of my hair as I step up to the microphone and say the words that change the world.
"Good morning. My name is Silvia, and I am an energist."
There will be applause, then more applause, and people are going to jump up from their chairs and start cheering, celebrating the moment, the exact moment, when modern energism has arrived.
What is modern energism? Why is this so important, and so different from everything that has come before? Why is it so NEW, after 100,000 years of people talking about energy, chi and prana?
What's different here, what is it that we do that has never been done before in the history of humanity?
It's the Sixth Sense, that is what is different.
We have finally understood that emotions are an information system that human beings need to make use of, in order to not only understand reality absolute a little, but to make sense of their own lives and that of other people too.
The Sixth Sense that provides each one of us with that all important 16.7% additional information about the world around us, that is what is different.
The Sixth Sense gives us, for the first time in the history of humanity, a direct, PERSONAL guidance system to reality absolute. This means that we do not have to go through a priest, or an old book, so that we can know what's right and what's wrong any longer.
We have our very own personal book of reality absolute, and it is written in the language of intuition, emotion, and psychosomatic pain.
It is also written in the language of intuition, emotion, and psychosomatic pleasure. We are being moved by emotions. Emotions come from the energy body, and it is our own energy body that connects us to the great web of life of which so much was talked, and so little was ever allowed to be personally experienced, personally OWNED by "the people."
 Bringing the Sixth Sense back into the equation, directing people's awareness to their own Sixth Sense at last, is a complete game changer, a paradigm shift of epic proportions.
It is above all else our ticket to personal evolution, societal evolution, and human evolution out of the dark ages, and into a new era, defined by a convergence of love AND logic.
Being a modern energist is a truly amazing adventure.
It is a journey out of fear and into love, a straightforward path delineated by the simple SUE Scale, a device that didn't exist before I made it, and we came to use it as the first people ever.
With the SUE Scale, a "scientific instrument" so simple that a three year old child can understand it as well as a 90 year old tribal grandmother who never learned to read or write, we have in our hands new goals, new pathways and an expansion of possibilities that the world has never seen before.
Best of all, we now get to write our own books. None of these will be "the" book, but all together, they become more than the sum of their parts.
We have long known that to confine what we know, what we can do, and what we can bring to the world to the sacred circle of therapy and healing, was not enough.
Yes, we all need healing. There were so many things we didn't consciously understand, so many injuries that were never treated properly, so many events that we didn't have.
There is more though. There are all the children who need a different life to the one we have led, so they may set the goal posts even higher still and operate from higher states of awareness.
There are all the ordinary people who are ruining their incarnations on a hamster wheel of fear and terror they're not even aware of, wasting the gifts they would have to give to us all in the process.
There are our leaders who lead us into more and more problems, rather than into the solutions we need to make all our worlds a better place.
We need to expand and reach out so more people can start to make sense of their lives, and take control of their emotions in a whole new way.
This is why we are making the shift from "The Association for Meridian & Energy Therapies,” to "The Guild of Energists." 
We are opening the door to invite people to join us who don't want therapy, or to become a therapist, but bring their gifts as a modern energist to the world in different ways. Such as an artist, as a computer programmer, as a marketing executive, as a writer, as a mother, as a father or as an entrepreneur.
There are very few structures for an organisation that allow all members to be equally weighted. A modern energist is a person on a path of evolution, a path all of their own, entirely unique in all times spent, and although we work together, play together and learn together, we do not follow anyone.
The truth is a pathless land.
The concept of The Guild, an association of unique individuals who have skills and information that binds them, and who act within their communities, working in the real world, spoke to us, and so on November 12th 2016, we will officially make the transition from The AMT to GOE, The Guild of Energists, at the 1st new era GoE Energy Conference.
What we have to offer is too important now to hide it away any longer.
We have spent the last 18 years carefully assessing and refining both theory and practice of first generation methods and techniques, to give people control back over their own energy bodies. We have tested what we do in many different scenarios, with so, so many different people.
The testing phase is over.
We are moving to the next step now. Application, and confidently offering the world the gifts that only we would have to give.
The word is crying out for modern energism, the world needs modern energists.
That would be us.
Now, we are here.
I am proud to sign off with the statement that says it all.

Born in Germany in 1959, Silvia Hartmann has lived and worked in the United Kingdom since 1978. Hartmann is the developer and primary designer of Energy EFT, Positive EFT, Project Sanctuary, The Genius Symbols, EMO Energy In Motion, Events Psychology and Modern Stress Management.
In 1998, Silvia Hartmann co-founded The GoE, the world's first certifying body for modern energy work and wrote the world's first book on EFT "Adventures in EFT: The Essential Guide to Emotional Freedom Techniques" (DragonRising, 1998), which remained the only available book on EFT until 2001, went through 8 editions and was finally replaced in 2010 by Energy EFT.
To this day, Silvia Hartmann continues to lead the GoE as chairperson and to evolve the Third Field of modern energy work. In 2011, Hartmann created the EFT Master Practitioner Training. In 2016, Hartmann created the Energy EFT Foundation Course.
