Strange Green Guy

He wasn't quite himself, he thought ...

He wasn't quite himself today,
he thought, and it wasn't just
his colouring that was off.

He just didn't remember himself
to have that many arms
no matter how hard he tried
or how often he counted.

The green guy has just turned up in my Sanctuary, as a gem cutter. In 2022. It hugged me with fervour and wouldn't let go. We are going to go on a trip to find its people. Absolutely loving the fact that there's this picture of him to refer to!
