As you will probably know, MODERN ENERGY ART is very important to me on many different levels. I have decided to move forward and do something about it. Here it is.
1. EnergyArt.uk
... is not called Silvia Hartmann's art. At present, it only features my work plus a first Modern Energy Art group exhibition; but I want it to become the official record and seminal art gallery for all future Modern Energy artists, where they can showcase their work, and where the public can buy this.
2. It is extremely important to me to leave a legacy of Modern Energy Art in the form of living people who can pass it on if I get run over by a bus.
To this end, I am going to take on a small number of apprentices for a one year course in Modern Energy Art. This is going to be highly personal to the artist in question, but will cover design, painting, digital art, sculpture and photography along the way. It may also involve other modalities such as music, song, story telling, writing, poetry etc. depending on the person in question.
I will publish more details in due course and this will begin September 1st.
3. Of course I will continue with my work as the lead researcher for the GoE, and I expect that through the Energy Art journeys we will be taking, many new and exciting findings will come to light, which I look forward to sharing with you all.
