Wow!
What an EXPERIENCE - where do I start?!
So many things happened, so many people encountered, so much said, so much done, so much felt and so much experienced - this was truly, a unique learning experience that money really couldn't buy.
Here's what springs to mind first of all - the lighting up of people's eyes when I told them that there was a BRAND NEW energy modality, made by modern 21st Century people FOR modern 21st century people, and especially, made by women FOR women.
Women are, after all, the ones who HAVE all those emotions - we're always crying and screaming and shouting and wailing and whining, we are the emotion EXPERTS so isn't about time that OUR emotions were taken seriously and properly investigated FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY?
Now don't get me wrong - celibate vegetarian Chinese monks from 6,000 years ago were fine people, without a doubt, but whatever THEIR energy systems were like, ours aren't like that any more.
We need something NEW - and EMO is exactly that, something NEW for this day and age, and something that was designed in the first place for ALL PEOPLE, women and children included for the very first time, once more in the entire history of humanity.
Sounds good?
Damn right it does!
EVERY SINGLE PERSON I told the above, and some were literally just curious and off the streets, without the first clue about anything to do with esoterics, energy bodies and mind/body/spirit healing, and others were healers with 50 years experience, EVERY SINGLE PERSON went, "Wow! What a GOOD IDEA! That sounds EXACTLY like what's needed in this day and age!"
I was literally blown away by the positive response of the people to EMO.
Being used to having to work so hard to "persuade" people of the validity of the idea that we might have meridians and all that jazz, this was a revelation.
People LOVED the idea that EMO was NEW and RELEVANT to today's people.
They LOVED the idea that it wasn't based on some aged system, that it hadn't come out of a talking burning bush, handed down from the top of a mountain or somehow beamed down by extra-terrestrials, but instead, had been built carefully over many years of observation and testing IN THE REAL WORLD AS IT IS TODAY - with all the environmental stressors, the ringing telephones, the computers, the pollution, the TV blaring and all the rest of it!
People LOVED the idea that it was natural, and human, and didn't require you to join a cult, move to the Himalayas or study for the next 30 years before you could FEEL the results IN YOUR OWN BODY!
People LOVED the idea that the client and the practitioner were equal partners - the clients said, "Wow! I've been doing a hundred different therapies for 30 years and no-one has ever asked me where it really hurts!" and the practitioners said, "Wow! I don't have to guess anymore! I don't have to talk for hours - I can just get on with it and HELP PEOPLE!!! That's what I always wanted!"
There was just no resistance - just sincere, open curiosity and wanting to find out more.
We handed out 1,309 EMO Yearbooks in just two days - we could have handed out three times that number because literally everyone was interested and receptive to something NEW, something LOGICAL, something EASY that would help them find out more about energy and how it all hangs together.
The amazing thing about this is that I never even had time to explain the other benefits of EMO - how it doesn't just take the pain away, but it makes you happy; that whole Energy Nutrition deal where the world comes to life and floods into your systems, giving you joy, beauty, and personal power; the fact that you can do it IN THE REAL WORLD and once you know how to, you can literally TRANCEFORM ALL YOUR EXPERIENCES into something new and exciting!
- Just the basic benefits - it being new, women being included at last, no aliens being involved and its easy and natural to learn, that was enough to get people very excited about EMO indeed!
THAT is very cool. It makes me excited about EMO in a whole new way and it showed me that I have been way to esoteric and indirect in really trumpeting the many advantages this modern system has to offer to EVERY HUMAN BEING WHO WANTS IT, and no matter what civilisation they come from, how old they are, or whether they can even read or write!
But that wasn't all that made me extra-excited about EMO.
There were also my personal experiences.
How I managed to "soften and flow" negative responses to people; I didn't used to think of myself as having much patience at all but I found that I could do much, MUCH better if I just made a little effort to locate the disturbances, and to remind myself that it was only an energy.
A lady hypnotist wanted to take a picture of me and her at the stand, and as I'd just explained to her about EMO, we took the opportunity to cure my picture reversals on the spot - she got wonderfully involved in helping me release stuck energy from my back and after that, it was great!
She did a really good job - and her EMO experience at that point was approximately 10 minutes in total.
How cool is that?!
How cool is it for ME that I can just say, "Yeah, I've got an energy blockage!" and not have to pretend I'm all enlightened, and can TAKE HELP from this person I've only just met?
The best experience, however, and that was an experience close to being a Guiding Star, came on Sunday afternoon.
I was really tired by then, not being used to this much interaction with other people, nor to stand for hours on end; there were some other physical causes as well that made me really exhausted, miserable and down in the dumps.
I walked away from the stand and noticed that a group of "shiny ladies" in sparkling costumes were drumming, dancing and singing on the public stage.
I drifted there and started to do a little bit of energy dancing, just to unlock the worst places in myself, weaving a bit here and there, making some hand movements because that was all I could do, and not ten minutes later, I was completely FINE, enjoying myself, re-energized, and actually dancing and singing along with the shiny ladies, "We come from the Goddess - and to her we shall return ..." at the top of my voice!
I woke up to this and then I saw everything else around me as well again (when you're miserable, you collapse into yourself and don't see what there is!), and what I saw was all these people sitting on their chairs, grey, looking at the shiny ladies on the stage, not moving, not singing, not dancing, just sitting there.
I felt SO SAD for them, I felt SO SAD that they didn't know that you could just make some random movements, let this energy flow in that the shiny ladies were broadcasting for all they were worth, and let it nourish you, lift you up, give you the energy to rise to your feet and start to dance as well, have a WONDERFUL experience on this day like I did have, and they did not.
These people did not NOT want to have a good time.
They came to this festival looking for SOMETHING - something to help them, to inspire them, to catch their interest, to give them a new direction, some hope perhaps.
They were sitting there because they didn't know what to do and how to make it so that WHAT THERE WAS ON OFFER ALL AROUND THEM would be able to come in and give them - all of that and so much more besides!
And likewise, the shiny ladies who were singing, dancing and drumming their hearts out, they didn't know what to do either to get this audience on their feet and involved - and yet it would have been SO EASY if anyone in this equation was "EMO enabled"!
That did it.
It did something.
It made all the many years of laborious testing and researching fall away, and what was left was that amazing thing that is the essence of EMO - that wonderful NEWS that we can have a good time if we just treat our energy bodies right!
- And that's what I've come away with from Manchester above all else - to really "get it" how WONDERFUL EMO is, how IMPORTANT it is for people to at least be told so that they know and can make up their own minds, bodies AND SPIRITS as to whether this simple thing can help them too, as much as it helped me there on the day.
And as it continued to help me, as the long day drew to an end at 6pm, and we had to dismantle the stall, pack up everything, carry it all back to the van, and then drive home, an 8 hour marathon as it turned out which finally had us reach my house at 3.30am on Monday morning.
During all that, me, Steve and Alex, the team, worked together like a dream.
We supported each other, didn't freak out once, were loving and respectful and worked through what there was to work through in good humour.
- THAT is also EMO - to recognise in yourself and others when you get distraught, and to take steps to alleviate this immediately; to not take anything personally and to know it's only energy, and to deal with it accordingly; to have this amazing CENTER inside where you know that you're not perfect, but your handling yourself the best you can, given all the circumstances.
A mother and two brothers working together like that - I've never experienced anything like it, didn't know people, and never mind such close relatives, could work together like that.
It was a COMPLETE revelation, and I thank EMO for this absolutely.
So this is what I've come away with, and what I would like to say to all of you and all of us, myself included, is now this.
Come out of the closet, and tell people people about EMO.
Don't be scared that they think you're weird, or they won't like it - I can tell you authoritatively that people think EMO is not just good news, it's GREAT NEWS and something they've waited to hear for a VERY, VERY LONG TIME INDEED!
Be direct, tell it as it, and by all means, do allow yourself to be excited about EMO.
EMO *is* exciting.
It can and will totally tranceform the experience of 500 grey people sitting motionless in their chairs, looking sadly at the shiny ladies, into a Guiding Star-burst of energy that will lift them, help them heal and give them what they need on their journey through life.
EMO really is THAT exciting, and it is THAT important.
We should tell everyone, everywhere, and take it into our hearts and USE IT TO THE HILT!
We should, and we must - there is too much wasted time, too many wasted lives when it is not necessary, and other, better experiences *under exactly the same circumstances* can be had for the sake of a little bit of extra information and knowledge about energy!
We each of us have a HUGE gift in EMO - a gift that we have received, the originators through their research and work, and the practitioners and our students through theirs - and now we must pass it on.
Energy must flow, information must flow - and the faster and richer it flows, the better the experiences all around!
So don't be shy, guys.
Talk about it.
Tell everyone.
Hand out yearbooks to every person who holds out their hand when you say, "Would you like a great free book on energy?"
There is now not a single doubt in my mind remaining that if we do that, we WILL change the world - and our own individual worlds right alongside, as well.

Now let's see what Kim Bradley, an EMO Practitioner, had to say about MBS!
My 16 year old daughter Hannah and I volunteered our services to helping out at the Festival this year. We had a fantastic time and the stand was very busy all day.
The Dragon Rising Team, which consisted of Silvia, Alex and Steve, very generously gave away Free EMO 2008 books to anyone who came up to the stand. This fantastic stroke of genius made it easy for us to attract people and gave a huge buzz to the stand that should launch EMO into a new league. We must have given over 50 mini treatments I would think on Saturday alone and it certainly gave me ample opportunity to practice my “elevator pitch”!
One person said "How come you can afford to give away free books and free sessions when all the other stands want £20 off me!" I said "that's because we are wonderful people with a big heart!!"
All the mini sessions were very well received. Some people had some tears to shed, others felt like a heavy load had been lifted. I just hope that the work and the word will spread out.
Hannah and I left on such a high note. What a wonderful way of spending an afternoon with my daughter. If anyone out there is unsure about teaching EMO to teenagers, let me tell you I can’t think of a better way to help them connect to their heart and help people. Teenagers often crave/need recognition - Hannah got that ten-fold when she helped people of all ages, some with disabilities, some with pain they were carrying around for quite some time. One person came back to her to say “thank you, you’ve helped me more than you know”.
Did we feel exhausted after giving so many mini treatments? Did we feel drained by so many people milling around? NO. What another amazing fact about EMO. All that people energy lifted our energy so much I could have partied all night! Out of the mini treatments we did, not one person even told us what they were clearing – there was no need to know. Each person that received treatment left the stand feeling considerable better but did not have to dig up, mull over or spill the beans on any of their life problems. How fantastic is that!
EMO IS amazing, shout it from the roof tops and let’s get it promoted to a much larger audience for ET09.
