On the other side of the paradigm shift that is Modern Energy, where we have finally understood that in order to be happier and healthier, we need more POSITIVE experiences, more powerful star events, there are many wonderful surprises.
The TREASURES & RICHES are among those.
When folk think they're about to die in a car crash or on an airplane, what often happens is that the memories of their life flash through their minds.
What is so interesting about that is that no trauma memories flash under those circumstances.
It is only good memories, high energy memories, that flash.
This makes a lot of sense as in Modern Theory, there is only energy and the absence of energy.
A "negative" memory has no energy, just as a negative bank balance has no money.
There is literally nothing to take along to the next level, the soul journey beyond physical death.
- In other words, trauma counts for nothing when it comes to taking the balance of your life.
Literally, NOTHING.
This research from 2005 convinced me that we need to not only think about our memories in a different way, we need to learn to manage them differently.
Constantly and ONLY accessing painful, traumatic memories and actively searching for more and more, worse and worse painful and traumatic memories is extremely unhealthy.
I can't overstate just how unhealthy it is to put an already chronically stressed energy body through more stress and suffering "as the only path to true healing."
But it gets worse than that.
I observed that the psychotherapy-entrained, trauma-practised clients found it really hard, really difficult, to even think of good memories!
Their brows would crinkle, their hands become fists, some even started to sweat when "forced" to try and think of something good from their childhood.
This made me suspect that on top of there clearly being train-track like structures in the energy body, where all roads led to trauma, there may also be actual neurological structures in the physical brain.
Old train tracks in the brain ...
The train to trauma town is at the station! All aboard!
I had a number of clients who were absolutely and totally convinced that there was NOTHING good in their childhood, ever or at all.
These were the highest end clients with the worst symptoms and disturbances.
Indeed, I saw a direct correlation between a person's ability to access POSITIVE memories and how much or how little chronic stress they were dealing with.
As all of those high end clients had been in one form of psychotherapy and counselling or the other for decades, I decided to experiment a little with the positive memories.
The very act of me asking them to remember something good about their childhood met with a shocking level of resistance.
I remember one particular client who got very upset and started yelling at me, "There was NOTHING good about my childhood! NOTHING!!!"
However, I knew that this wasn't true.
People are truly amazing beings, and will make lemonade out of their atom bomb sized lemons, no matter how terrible things get for them. I know this and trust in this, so I held the angry client's eye and said to him, "Stop yelling and tell me about your best childhood memory."
His eyes started to flicker, he took a deep breath, wiped his face with his hands and shook his head.
"Yes," I said, "Tell me about that.
"TELL ME what you have just remembered!"
And he told me.
He was about 4 years old and living in a trailer park with his mother, numerous siblings and a sequence of different, but always abusive "step fathers."
He was woken up by sunshine streaming into the little closet where they locked him up when they went out drinking. It was early, and they had not yet returned.
He remembered being unbelievably hungry, as hungry as only a small child knows how to be.
He remembered his little aspect realised that nobody was going to come to his rescue.
So the little boy managed to get the nails out of the window so he could open it. He climbed out and went around to the back entrance. He got into the kitchen. Climbed onto the work to to explore the cupboards. There was nothing edible there apart from right at the back, stuck to the shelve, an old packed of jelly cubes, orange flavoured.
He took that and went outside, sat in the sunshine and ate it.
It was the most marvellously and gloriously orange tasting magical experience.
And he knew, really KNEW, from that moment on, that he wasn't helpless, that he could take care of himself, and that he would make it in life.
My previously angry client was sobbing.
I went over to him and put my hand on his shoulder, kept it there until he had stopped.
He looked up at me with his tearstreaked face and said, "How can I ever thank you for this?"
I said nothing but thought, "How can I ever thank YOU for this?"
Because I had really understood now why we need to pay more attention to our positive memories.
THIS was EXACTLY what this client had needed for oh! so long.
To re-connect with that little boy who knew he could make it in life, because he was smart, and resourceful, and could look after himself.
This experience was a total turning point for the client.
I asked him to come back, free of charge, to help me with my research into POSITIVE childhood memories, and he jumped with joy at the chance.
I learned so much about him - and his life began to change for the better.
There is so much to this story.
His own energy mind gave the breakthrough healing memory he needed.
I just asked.
His energy mind answered, and I was there to really receive this answer, fully and completely.
It was magical.
We had discovered together a golden treasure of epic proportions.
We had discovered the "psychology equivalent" of an archaeologist discovering Tut's tomb!
And before you think, "Oh, that's only this one guy ..." I really have to ask you to stop and think afresh.
You too have your own TREASURES & RICHES!
In your memories, there lie the real keys to your incarnation, to your LIFE!
But it's not in the trauma memories. That's an empty tomb.
It's your POSITIVE memories that are your treasures and riches.
It's your high positive Star Events that would flash before your eyes if your plane went down.
If you went on a different archaelogical quest for a change, to find all your buried treasure, your own acres of diamonds, your own gold mines of rich and nourishing information, energy and inspiration ...
... what would that do for your life?
What would that do for your brain???
What would that do for your energy body???????
I invite you to try it out for yourself.
It is just crazy that we don't access our powerful positive memories more often.
It is completely insane to constantly ask people about their traumas - ask them about their star events instead, just for a change, just to re-dress a balance that is so far skewed into the deep negatives, it is no balance at all!!!!
Even just making sure that for every single time you remember a trauma, you make sure to remember at least three positive memories as well, would be a start.
It would be an enormous help to move your energy body out of chronic stress and into some level of function.
It would allow the self healing functions of your energy body to finally start kicking in, and at last, "time" actually being a part of a real healing process.
I am near enough begging you to please, please pay attention to your best memories, urgently, now.
Who can say what amazing and transformational experiences await?
And not only that.
When we finally "get it" how important the star events, the high positive experiences really are, we make much more of an effort to gather up more of them before we die!
Accessing positive past memories is a first step towards understanding how these memories work, what made them happen, what they have in common, so we can learn how to "create positive memories" TODAY.
Don't let YOUR treasures and riches lie fallow in a forgotten corner of your memories, where they gather dust and are never visited.
Just like with trauma, the more often we ask about the happy memories, the more become revealed.
More and more and more until in the end, my formerly angry client said to me, "I had an amazing childhood. Yes, it was very hard when you look at it in one way. But there was also so much freedom and I had such a good time, and so often, so much laugher and real wow experiences - I feel truly blessed!"
We're supposed to be grateful for our lives.
That cannot ever happen as long as we ignore our happy memories.
They truly are our own, unique, priceless treasures and riches.
And at the end of the day, only they define our lives.
