Martina Konecna, an EFT Master Practitioner from Czech Republic, has written a case story about a grown woman who is reduced to feeling like a child when confronted.
Martina writes:Â Marie looked me for help. At first sight pleasant and friendly woman, over 40, but somehow shy, frightened and constricted. I could feel it from her and her voice confirmed it when she started to speak. "The world is dangerous and unpredictable.", was her non verbal message for me.
We started our collective work with destressing and tuning in EFTeam. She liked tapping on points, her six sense worked and answered very nicely. Her face released and Marie started to speak about her longstanding problem that brought her a lot of pain and feeling of personal failure. When she visited class meeting and wanted something to say during discussion with other parents and class teacher, she simply was not able. She stiffened at that moment, terrible fear and stress. Her heart started to pounding, vocal cords constricted, she couldn´t breath, her hands started to tremble and got wet. "I am at that moment as if I should die," stated Marie sadly. "And this happens in other situations too, when shall I something say and there are some authorities - adults. I feel like a small child before them."
"I come in love" - Rose Hand. This symbol hybrid is one of my favourites. It's a wonderful thing on so many levels.

In this case story, Roy Riseborough from the UK helps a friend eleviate a guilt that has lived with them a long time with the help of Energy EFT.
Roy writes:Â I have known Angela for some time and to me she appeared to exude confidence, she moved with an "air" about her of someone without a care in the world. It was therefore somewhat of a shock to me when in conversation with her about Nursing (she, like me, is a professional Nurse) she confided in me and started to explain " her problem".
John Staples from Maryland, USA writes:Â When my grand son was born on June 25 of this year we were there and it was extremely stressful for all involved and particularly him. He was stuck in the birth canal for a long time and it turned out he was not getting enough oxygen. When he finally came out he was gray and stressed and his Apgar score was a 2-3. They immediately put him on oxygen and the physician said he had several issues that were troubling which needed to be resolved, and he would have to remain in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for several days or longer.
Tanya Lyons, an EFT Master Practitioner student currently studying the distance learning coruse, writes:Â My client came with an issue of having a frozen shoulder. She has regular steroid injections for the pain. She had good days and bad days with the pain and she has just learned to live with it!
I explained the theory behind EFT with the notion that there could be an emotional component to the experienced pain and by treating physical pain with EFT, we are healing the energy body level of the problem and we are "taking out" the psychosomatic pain component.
I didn't confess to be able to cure the problem but to simply see what happened. My client looked rather intrigued and curious at what may happen.

Silvia Hartmann writes: "I absolutely LOVE the metaphor of the energy mind being a beautiful, huge, alien dragon and that you have to not tame it but make it like you and want to work with you. The whole process about learning each other (we consciously do such strange, strange things!) and getting to trust each other, then love each other, is just ... fantastic. You can't tame the dragon. What a terrible idea! But if you're nice to it, it might take you places you have never been ... :-)"
Lorna Firth, an GoE Trainer based in Paphos, Cyprus, introduces a seasoned EFT self-helper to the joys of Energy EFT in this case story.
Lorna writes:Â I have been Catherine's Energist off and on for 2.5 years now. She initially presented because of relationship difficulties. The last 4 long term relationships were with abusive men - either physically/sexually or verbally. During that time, as well as Psychotherapy, I did teach her the Classic EFT protocol which she used to help with her emotions. However, the sessions stopped when Catherine, because of a traumatic event, went back to the UK. Catherine returned to this country after 18 months to rebuild her life. Her plan was to find work and a place to live and be independent.
She has resumed her sessions with me and she is very happy and curious to work as a team with the new Energy EFT protocol...
Tony Leake, an EFT Master Practitioner student from the UK, shows the importance of focusing on the very source of pain for maximum effectiveness in this interesting case story.
Tonny writes:Â Linda is a regular practice partner, and on this occasion we had arranged a extra session as she had a severe toothache.
When she arrived, the first thing I noticed was that she was not smiling which is unusual, and she was continually probing the inside of her mouth with her tongue...
Recent graduate of the Energy EFT Master Practitioner distance learning course, Clara Arenas, has put together a case study on the notorious subject of stopping smoking - something that almost all Practitioners will deal with at somepoint in their careers.
Clara writes:Tina is a beautiful college student who smokes a pack of cigarettes a day and uses marijuana at times. She wanted to quit smoking. She is very stressed out because she said she can't see a way out.
The first session we started distressing her. It took two rounds for her to feel relax.
Then we talked more about the EFT team and the importance of working together. "EFT team" was the reminder phrase for the round.
She said she love the idea of working as a team. "Love" for the next round to improve our energy.
She had just smoked her last cigarette so I asked her to image a cigarette and tell me how she felt. She said she really wanted to smoke the cigarette and that she felt it on her stomach...
Newly certified EFT Master Practitioner Timothy Ryan writes:Â The client is a sixty two year old athletic built female who came to the session saying she was grieving the loss of her employment where she was terminated suddenly after being employed for some twenty years. She said she received a form letter from her school district saying her services were no longer needed. She said she understood it was a financial decision but like everyone she never thought it would happen to her. She knew it was not meant to be personal but she was still hurt and in shock. She felt lost without direction and did not know what to do.
This story turned up in the warm up for the Google book (The Naked Writer) project.
