Cheryl Hopkins writes: "We all want a ‘better’ life; improved relationships, a better paying job, more rewarding work, a sense of freedom... more daily joy. For me, life is about joy... spreading it and experiencing it daily and in particular, helping people develop careers they feel passionate about and a workplace (I specialise in the financial sector) that thrives on respect, trust… personal effectiveness, because it’s our individual effectiveness… our own personal mastery, that determines our success and thus joy in life. So, this article is about setting yourself up for an incredible time in the week, month… year ahead, in whatever aspect of your life you choose; of course, to make room for the new you need to clear out the weeds that hold you back, and that’s where EMO comes in."Cheryl is an Advanced ETP who specialises in creating root level changeTM in the workplace for individuals, organisations and society as a whole

Pet Bereavement Help - Healing The Pain Of Pet Loss

Pet Bereavement, Pet Loss or Animal Bereavement, the pain a loving owner feels after their beloved companion pet has died, is unfortunately little understood. People who suffer from pet bereavement are often at the receiving end of, "Don't make such a fuss, it wasn't even a person who died!" attitude from friends and family, and even counsellors and psychologists look down on them because it is "only pet bereavement".

In this article, Silvia Hartmann explains what pet bereavement is, why it is important to help people heal the pain of animal bereavements, and recommends practitioners who can help with pet loss.

The client is a 47 year old woman who is a practicing psychotherapist and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work. One of the core differences between Events Psychology and standard psychology is the presence of the POSITIVE SCALE OF EMOTIONS.

Treating Symptoms As Real In Energy Psychology

Ed Grimshaw, NLP Trainer & Author of The Perfect Fit, Writes: "In working with clients and seeing people with a variety of issues, one thing that has changed in recent years is treating the client’s presenting problem as real. This was pioneered in the 70s by Virginia Satir (Family Therapist) then by Richard Bandler (NLP originator). They treated the literal meaning of what was said by the client as a true statement of affairs. Of course going back before then and even now with some of the current medical thinking, “the pull yourself together school of thinking” does not get anywhere, its destructive and simply invalidates the poor sufferer."
